Women’s Health Celebrates its Second Anniversary Issue

With the fit, easy-going Sonakshi Sinha on the April, 2014 cover

Mumbai: Women’s Health India celebrated its second anniversary with one of Bollywood’s most successful actors, Sonakshi Sinha.

The 20th issue of the magazine, with the star on the cover, was unveiled at a press conference at Olio, Novotel, in Juhu, Mumbai.

Thereafter, Sonakshi took part in a chat with the Women’s Health’s editorial director, Sanghamitra Chakraborty and fitness trainer, Abbas Ali. The discussion explored the buzz around Sonakshi’s weight loss and how she dropped several sizes in the most healthy way possible—with working out and eating wisely, embodying the spirit of the Women’s Health maxim, Fit is the New Sexy.

Sonakshi is a winner in every sense of the word, both professionally and in the personal choices she makes. Her hard work and no-fuss attitude have won her the praise of directors, photographers and other professionals she works with. These qualities make her an apt choice for the young, independent-minded Women’s Health audience.

Abbas has over 15 years of experience in the fitness industry. He is a celebrity fitness trainer in Mumbai and has worked with several Bollywood and TV stars. He is also the founder of Bodyholics, a company that provides round-the-clock personal training.
