Grundfos India promotes the need for climate-resilient infrastructure

Mumbai, August, 2019: Grundfos India, a global leader in advanced pump solutions and water technology, is the Gold sponsor of the Climate Leadership Conference organized by Confederation Indian Industries (CII). The conference scheduled on August 1, 2019 in Delhi aims to discuss possible solutions for the Indian industries to combat climate change.
Grundfos is committed to promoting the United Nation’s Sustainability Development Goal (SDG) 13, which focuses on climate change. With sustainability as a key part of the company’s DNA, Grundfos recognized the relevance of the SDG’s and the need to develop solutions to mitigate the negative impact. Moderating the session on Building disaster resilient infrastructure for the nation against climate change impacts’, Ranganath N. We see the effects of climate change through increased flooding, drought, and drastic weather fluctuations. While we all work towards mitigating the negative impact of climate change, it is important to also focus on adopting intelligent and efficient solutions and technologies that can help us build stronger disaster resilient infrastructure. It is also critical for key stakeholders such as the Government and industries to come together to address these challenges.”
